2365: The Exodus Fleet

Event:

Governments and private organizations worldwide collaborate to build the first prototype
spacecraft capable of interstellar travel.

These spacecraft, known as the Exodus Fleet, are designed to be self-sustaining, with
advanced life support systems, hydroponic farms, and AI navigation. The project is kept
secret to avoid mass panic and unrest.

	> Introduction of the Fleet:
In 2365, inspired by the escalating resource crises and geopolitical instability
on Earth, a coalition of leading nations and private enterprises initiate the
Exodus Fleet project. Advances in propulsion technology, energy generation, and
life support systems make the dream of interstellar travel more feasible.
The construction of the first prototypes begins in orbit around Earth and on the Moon.

	> 2375: The Great Blackout, The End:
In 2375, a massive solar storm of unprecedented magnitude strikes Earth. The solar storm
causes widespread electrical failures and cripples global communication networks

The Exodus Fleet, still in its final stages of preparation, is not spared from the effects
of the solar storm. Critical components of the spacecraft, including communication systems,
navigation instruments, and solar panels, are damaged or destroyed by the intense radiation
and magnetic disturbances caused by the solar storm. The impact of the Great Blackout forces
a halt to all planned launches of the Exodus Fleet.

> What Happened from 2365-2375?
	2366-2370: Progress and Challenge
From 2366 to 2370, Engineers and scientists worked tirelessly, overcoming numerous
technical challenges. The Exodus Fleet consisted of several massive ships, each designed
to carry thousands of people, along with the necessary equipment and supplies for
establishing a self-sustaining colony. Despite global tensions, the project sees
unprecedented international cooperation, with contributions from the United States,
China, Russia, the European Union, and India, as well as major private companies.

2370: The Middle East Resource War
In 2370, The outbreak of the Middle East Resource War diverts attention and resources.
Although the Exodus Fleet project continues, its progress slows as key personnel and
materials are reallocated to address the immediate geopolitical crisis. As the war
intensifies, Russia deploys a biochemical weapon, leading to a new plague.

	2371-2374: Struggles and Setbacks
The ongoing war and pandemic strain global economies. Funding for the Exodus Fleet becomes
inconsistent, and some nations withdraw their support. Maintenance of the already constructed
parts becomes increasingly difficult due to resource scarcity.
